You were too late and didn't catch your tickets for the DIIV show on Tuesday? Don't be sad this time, there will be an additional show on Monday 27th August at Monarch (yes, one day before the original show takes place). Thanks to Puschen for organizing this add-on!

Presale: last chance today

Hello hello,

this is not an ordinary Thursday, it's the last day of presale for the Indie Pop Days Festival this weekend which ALREADY STARTS TOMORROW (waah).  So if you wanna make sure to get in, please make use of this opportunity before midnight since we won't accept any incoming payments after that time.

You can get tickets for Saturday and Sunday combined. In case you can only make it to one of these festival-days the only option is buying tickets at the box office, just like on Friday.

Make sure to be there on time if you don't have a ticket already because the Wasserturm Kreuzberg isn't the largest place in the world, as you might remember from last year.

When life gets at you...

Hi everyone,

we were so sure everything was fixed but as it happens from time to time, we were not sure enough.

Let's start from the beginning. You might remember how excited we were to present Aberdeen to you. The band confirmed, they would like to play at the Indie Pop Days Festival 2011 and we were happy. But unfortunately there were some disagreements within the band, which is why we were told, there might be some problems, but none one couldn't solve.

It went from 'we are playing' to 'we are playing friday' to 'we are not sure we are going to make it' to 'we are coming!' to 'We can't make it'. And that was it... Whew, what a ride!

We are sorry to tell you, we truly are, but Aberdeen can not make it to our festival. In case you want to return the ticket you already bought, we are unhappy not to see you at the festival, but that's totally your decision and not a problem. Just get in touch with us and we'll send your money back!

On the bright side, we are working on finding another group of musicians who would like to come and play on stage of our festival. We can't say much more about it for now, but be sure that we will let you know as soon as we figured something out.

And let's all be reminded there are a whole bunch of other great bands, in fact someone of us counted 16, which is quite an okay amount of music to experience for two days, don't you think? Among them for example The Wave Pictures with their beautiful song Like a Drummer:

Dear reader and fleamarket-visitor,

we would like to thank all of you for coming out and finding us at the Mauerpark fleamarket. Who could have asked for more? The sun was shining perfectly, everyone was kind and we were super happy about the fact that everybody seemed to be very interested in our posters. We agree, they are very beautiful! Not only did we sell a bunch of posters but also a couple of tickets, so that went well!

It's a booklet!

pretending it's still yesterday evening here is the booklet I was talking about in the last post! It's eight pages full of information in a lovely shade of beige. Everyone who finds that colour in our poster gets a cookie. Part of it is the running order for Friday, Saturday and Sunday which you can have a look at and download from here.
Only two more days until the pre-sale is over! Better get your ticket for the weekend as space for your feet is limited inside Wasserturm. If you should have any more questions write us a mail to indiepopdays@gmail.com!

Tickets!

Finally we have some ticket information for you:

Friday evening you can get tickets for 8€ each at Multilayerladen only. You will get to know from when on the club will be open this evening. In any case be early that day because tickets are limited.

Tickets for Saturday and Sunday will cost 17€ each.

Special: you can pre-order a ticket combining Saturday and Sunday exclusively from us for 30€ + 1€ charges making it 31€. Orders are possible via Paypal. Please leave your full name, we'll write down your name on the "prepaid list" once you've ordered a ticket. This also means you have to bring your ID or passport to Wasserturm so we can be sure we're handing out tickets to the right person.

If you're not sure yet if you can go to both days you can buy your ticket at the door on Saturday and Sunday. Tickets will be 17€ each.
